The Center for China in the World Economy (CCWE), established in 2004 by Professor David Daokui Li, is a premier policy research center dedicated to examining China's role in the global economy. With a focus on fostering cross-cultural communication and engaging in meaningful dialogues, CCWE interacts with top scholars and policymakers to influence discussions on China’s political, economic, and social issues.
Position Overview:
We invite applications for an Editor/Translator role, where you will contribute to our mission by ensuring the clarity and accessibility of our academic works, press releases, and other literature. This position is integral to maintaining CCWE’s reputation as a leading platform for economic studies and exchanges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and translate academic works and publications.
- Edit and translate press releases, CCWE literature, and articles for both internal and external audiences.
- Manage overseas invitations related to CCWE events.
- Maintain and develop relationships with international organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and Brookings Institution.
Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
- Academic background in economics or a related field.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
