The Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University, inspired by the Rhodes Scholarship and founded by Blackstone Co-Founder Stephen A. Schwarzman, is designed to tackle the challenges of the 21st century and beyond. The program provides an opportunity for up to 200 scholars annually from the U.S., China, and around the world to complete a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing, one of China’s most prestigious institutions and a hub for scientific and technological research. Scholars engage in a year of study and cultural immersion, exploring China through lectures, travel, and hands-on learning. The program was officially launched on April 21st, 2013, and admits its first class in 2016.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the full admissions process for the Schwarzman Scholars Program.
• Assist with organizing admissions-related events and develop a database of prospective applicants, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
• Handle phone and email communications with potential applicants.
• Coordinate and manage the interview process for selected applicants, prepare and send offer letters, and assist with their enrollment in the program.
• Provide support and collaborate with various teams as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• At least 2 years of experience in admissions, sales, or marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capable of handling tasks assigned by project leaders.
