Salary Range: $81,130–$94,895 per year
Stanford University invites applications for a Life Science Research Professional 2 (LSRP 2) role. Join our leading-edge research team to contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in the fields of tumor-immune interactions and anti-metastatic immunotherapies. About the Role
As an LSRP 2, you will perform complex research functions, manage a segment of defined projects independently, and contribute to experimental design. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting experiments involving mouse tissue processing, tumor transplantation, cell line engineering, and single-cell genomics.
- Utilizing high-throughput screening platforms to identify anti-metastatic immunotherapy candidates.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance cutting-edge research.
- Preparing and analyzing data, maintaining detailed records, and publishing results.
- Supporting laboratory management and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Preferred Skills and Experience
We are seeking candidates with the following expertise:
- Molecular biology techniques, including flow cytometry, Western blotting, and generation of viral vectors.
- Experience with single-cell genomics, CRISPR editing, and next-generation sequencing.
- Hands-on experience with mouse models, including tumor transplantation and colony management.
- Background in high-throughput chemical perturbation screening.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, detailed record-keeping, and familiarity with scientific applications and databases.
